Meet Heather Dunbar
Welcome to Induction Cooktop Expert. My name is Heather Dunbar, and I founded this site to share reviews of portable induction cooktops and accessories.
I’ve been a chef for 10 years and have found portable induction cooktops especially useful for Sunday brunches and catered events.
They’re practical for events where suitable electrical power is available. Always check the appliance’s electrical rating, the outlet and circuit capacity, and the venue’s rules before use. Before switching to induction, I had to bring butane stoves and make sure I had enough fuel for each event.
Induction makes that part of event preparation much easier, without the worry of running out of butane fuel.
